Andrea Incontri has formalized her announced decision to leave her role as creative director at Benetton Group.
The professional and the company reached this decision by mutual agreement as part of the organizational reorganization underway in the group aimed at defining the team of managers who will support its new CEO in managing the new phase of rationalization and relaunch of the company, explained a note released by the group.
“Creative and design activities will continue to be carried out by Benetton Group's internal structures, as part of a process of their growth and enhancement,” explained the company.
The designer and Benetton Group expressed mutual thanks for the collaboration that has taken place.
“In January 2022 I started my adventure with Benetton. This experience taught me a lot: to design for a democratic project by putting the consumer first. A designer is first and foremost a dreamer who sees–and sometimes foresees–new scenarios. “I am grateful for having been chosen,” Incontri commented from his Instagram profile.
“I am honored to have collaborated with all those people who supported my work. Because behind the scenes there are true protagonists who silently and with hard work help make dreams come true. Thank you,” he added.
