The price of petroleum products is likely to be slashed in Pakistan from September 16 in the wake of the decrease in the price of oil globally.
Sources divulged on Thursday that the price of petrol is likely to reduce by Rs11.70 per litre. The price of high speed diesel is expected to be slashed by up to Rs11.91 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil is expected to decrease by Rs8.30 per litre.
Moreover, the price of the light diesel is also likely to drop by Rs9.50 per litre.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) had completed the initial work in line with the market data, which will be sent to the government on September 15.
